Janet Dale (Moore) Farkas, 82

Mrs. Janet D. Moore Farkas passed away peacefully surrounded by family on June 4th, 2025, at Beverly hospital after a brief illness. She was the daughter of Estelle C. Moore (Spanaes) and George K. Moore. Born on November 17th, 1942, she was raised in Lynn Mass, and graduated at Lynn English High School, class of 1960. She is predeceased by her daughter Robyn Kelley. Janet became a shoe model for Duchess Footwear in Salem, Ma. She also loved being a hairdresser for over 20 years. She had a huge love for playing cards and going to the casino with many great friends throughout most of her life. She was well known for traveling with friends to places in Las Vegas, Aruba, Atlantic City, Canada, Paris, and England. Everyone that got to know Janet described her as a one-of-a-kind woman and a great friend and she could usually be spotted driving around the city in her well-known Jaguar. Janet leaves behind her very loved grandchildren, Robert D. Kelley and his wife Melissa of Somers, CT. and Kristen L. Kelley and her fiancé Michael Lopresti of Lynn, Ma. She also leaves behind her very loved great-grandchildren, Aaric Worthington, Bradley Kelley, Isabella Kelley, and Kirk Greenleaf who all loved Grammy Janet very much. She leaves behind a very loved cousin Steve Sklavounos and many very loved friends.  Funeral services will be held at Goodrich Funeral Home, 128 Washington Street, Lynn, on Saturday, June 14, 2025, 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Burial will be at Swampscott Cemetery at a later date.
