We announce with sadness the passing of our mother, Janice Mattie (Atkinson) Boudreau, at Rosewood Nursing Home in Peabody, MA, on Sunday, September 7, 2025.

Janice was born on March 23, 1932, to the late Bessie Irene (Martin) Atkinson and Carl Haywood Atkinson. She is predeceased by her daughter, Donna, her four sisters Charlotte, Bernice, Dorothy, and Marjorie.

She leaves behind two sons, Bernard Boudreau and his wife Janice of Lynn, MA, and Robert Boudreau and his companion Linda Labadini of East Boston, as well as her daughter Barbara, and Russell Hughes of Winchendon, MA. She also has four grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

Calling Hours for Janice will be held on Friday, September 12, 2025, from 10am-11am, at Goodrich Funeral Home, 128 Washington Street, Lynn, MA. A Funeral Service will be held immediately following Calling Hours, starting at 11am, on Friday, September 12, 2025, at Goodrich Funeral Home; followed by a procession to Puritan Lawn Cemetery for Committal Services.
