Janice L. Socci, age 76, of Lynn, passed away Sunday, June 30, 2019 following a lengthy illness.  Born in Boston and raised in Lynn, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Kay (Diringis) Socci.  Janice was a graduate of Lynn Classical, Class of 1962.  She was involved with the Lynn Senior Center, where she enjoyed her time and friendships made there.  Janice had a beautiful smile and a wonderful personality.  She was a sweet, kind woman who had a gentleness about her, and always a positive attitude.  She is survived by her sister Pauline Taylor of Lynn, her nephew Christopher W. Taylor of Lynn, a great niece Kaitlyn Marie Taylor, her Aunt and Uncle, Nancy and John Barbero of East Boston and many cousins and friends.  A memorial service will be held at a date to be announced.  For those desiring, memorials in her memory may be made to the Cancer Society.
