Jason Allen Lopez went to be with the Lord unexpectedly on 9/8/2020. Jason was born on 8/22/1997 in Salem. Known to his Family as JJ -J or nicknamed by his mother as Handsome Jason graduated from KIPP Academy Lynn Collegiate, Class of 2016. After high school, he graduated from Providence College in 2020 with a BA in Marketing and minor in Finance. On campus he worked at the Help Desk and was a part of a book club with other alumni.   He was also a part of the economics club at Providence College. Upon graduation, Jason was pursuing Law School. He also assisted in the marketing of his father's business and created his own marketing online website: Content Honcho. Jason's fondest memories are playing video games, basketball, and soccer with his KIPP childhood friends. He also enjoyed playing with Snippy, reading books, self- educating, fitness, being with family, eating Chipotle or home cooked meals. He leaves behind his parents Erin Lee (Leger) Castro & Branor Agustin Castro of Lynn. He leaves behind his two sisters Lidia Castro, Brianna Castro, and Loved dog Snippy. He also leaves behind his grandfather Robert Leger and many Aunts and Uncles and cousins that were like siblings.  Jason is proceeded by the passing's of his Beloved Nana Ann M Leger in 2019 & his cousin Tyler J McDonough in 2020.  Jason loved and was loved by many people he knew.   He's remembered by his family as goofy, smart, strong, and caring.  Jason was a God-loving man and was always trying to better himself and his life. As he has accomplished many things, his mental illness doesn't define his character but gives strength to his accomplishments.

Visitation for Jason will be Friday, 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. with a service at 11:00 in the Goodrich Funeral Home, 128 Washington St., Lynn.  Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery.
