IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Jean Frenel
Wagnac
October 23, 2024
Born in Torbeck on December 27, 1960, Frénel is the third child in a family of five, founded by his mother, Lise Osny, and his father, Guy Wagnac. He spent his entire childhood and much of his adolescence in his hometown.
He completed his primary education with the Brothers of Christian Instruction (FIC) in Torbeck. He then began his secondary education at the Collège St Jean des Cayes. At the age of 19, at his parents' decision, he moved to Port-au-Prince to continue his studies in the vocational track at Sainte Trinité School, where he studied auto mechanics.
After obtaining his professional studies diploma, he took his first steps into the working world at Behrmann Motors. At the age of 29, he married Junia Horacius, who gave birth to their two children, Peggy Freud and Marie Junane. Subsequently, Frénel decided to leave the capital to join his family. Some time later, he started his own business in the transportation sector.
Later, he moved to Boston at the age of 39, where he spent the rest of his life. Since June 2006, he worked for Standard Parking/SPPlus until his hospitalization in April 2024. Frénel was a hard worker, never tired.
According to those who knew him, he loved helping others. He was philanthropic, kind, generous, and simple.
Finally, it is important to note that, faithful to the Christian education he received from his parents, Frénel was above all a believer. This faith was present throughout his life and was especially evident during his illness until his death.
May the Lord welcome his son into His home! Peace to his soul!
