John Joseph Curran, age 60, of Malden, formerly of Lynn, passed away May 29, 2022 at his residence following a lengthy illness.  He was the son of the late Charles R. Jr. and Roberta M. (Robb) Curran.  He was a graduate of Eastern Junior High School, class of 1971.  John was employed in a local supermarket and was a member of Cooperative of Human Services.  He enjoyed all Boston sports, wrestling and loved his family.  He is survived by his brother Charles Curran of Lowell, niece Tarsha Fielding, his best friend Susan O'Brien, many aunts, uncles and cousins, among them, his great-uncle Bailey Witham and great-nephew Aiden Fielding.  He was the uncle of the late Charles "BJ" Curran and Leanne Curran.  Visitation will be held in the Goodrich Funeral Home, 128 Washington Street, Lynn on Friday, 4:00 – 7:00 p.m.  Graveside service will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Lynn, meeting at the main gate on Wednesday, 10:00 a.m.  For those desiring, memorials may be made to Cooperative of Human Services, 420 Bedford Street, Suite 100, Lexington, MA 02420.
