John D. Nash

March 27, 1933 - August 31, 2021

John "Cat Daddy" Nash of Lynn, Massachusetts passed away in his Washington St. home on the morning of Tuesday, August 31st. He was the husband of the late Dorothy Nash of Lynn, MA. and is survived by his sister Joanne Nash of Lynn, his children Joe Ann Nash-Bess, Carrie Ann Woodworth, Barbara Nash, Ricky Nash, Delia Nash, Darlene Nash, and John Nash, his 18 grandchildren, his great-grandchildren, and his many nieces and nephews.

Mr. Nash was a Korean War veteran of the US Army and a General Electric retiree. He enjoyed taking care of his cat, playing the daily numbers game, and exchanging handwritten letters with distant family and friends. He and his great big smile will truly be missed by all.

Visitation will be held Friday, September 10, 2021, 10 am - 12 pm at the Goodrich Funeral Home located at 128 Washington St. Lynn, MA 01902, followed by a burial service at Pine Grove Cemetery in Lynn.
