John "Johnny" Bell Sr. of Lynn MA passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family, on Friday, June 3rd, 2022 at the age of 81 after a brief illness.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 42 years Marie (Chiappini) Bell, his son John Bell and his wife Gale of Georgetown, MA. His daughter Lisa (Bell) Hitchings and his 2 grandchildren Kyle and Lindsey Hitchings all of Groveland, his son John (Chiappini) Bell of Lynn MA and his daughter Melinda Bell of Peabody MA. His late sister Barbara (Kaminski) Warner of FL, his sister Ellen Bell of Lynn, MA, his 2 brothers James and George Bell of Missouri and his late brother Edward Bell of Iowa, and many nieces and nephews.

John lived in Lynn his whole life. He worked for many furniture stores and O'Donnell movers. His passion was playing drums in his band "The Half Breeds." He played in many North Shore venues from the 70's-90's along with his bandmates Hank Cognac, John Vas, Dick Hudson & Richard Lebrun.
