Joseph was born in Lynn, MA, on October 25, 1938, to his late parents Joseph Amirault and Pauline (Majcher) Amirault.

Joseph is survived by his children Michael Amirault, James Amirault and his wife Elaine, and Michelle (Amirault) Sullivan and her husband Rick; his brother Dennis; his grandchildren Joselyn, John, Heather and Joey; as well as many nieces, nephews, and friends. He is predeceased by his wife Lorraine (Palmieri) Amirault, his parents Joseph and Pauline, and his sisters Joan and Diane.

Joseph was a simple man, and he was known for being a hard worker. He worked his entire career in the alarm industry, beginning Cals Alarm, then onto Wells Fargo, finally retiring from American Alarm. He was a family man, who always made sure his family never went without. He always looked forward to trips up to Vermont with his late wife, Lorraine.

Calling Hours for Joseph will be held on Thursday, August 13, 2026, from 4pm-7pm, at Goodrich Funeral Home, 128 Washington Street, Lynn, MA. A Funeral Service will be held on Friday, August 14, 2026, beginning at 11am, at Goodrich Funeral Home; followed by a procession to Pine Grove Cemetery, 145 Boston Street, Lynn, MA, for Graveside Committal Services.
