Joseph A. Gaudreau Jr., "Sonny", age 71, of Peabody, formerly of Lynn, passed away Sunday, February 24, 2019 following a sudden illness.  Born and raised in Fall River, he was the son of the late Joseph Sr. and Rose (Gendron) Gaudreau.  Prior to his retirement, he worked at Shaw's as a deli manager for 18 years, and for 4 years at MassTran as a driver.  He loved watching TV shows and especially Survivor.  Sonny is survived by his children, Joseph S. Gaudreau and his wife Lisa of Lynn, Chris Gaudreau and his wife Nok of N. Andover, Jonathan Newhall and his wife Jessica of Saugus, Eric Gaudreau and his wife Sakina of Haverhill, Kendra Antonetti and her husband Larry of Chelsea, 3 step children, Billy, Shawn and Melissa Newhall, his loving partner of 13 years, Sherri Hall, 3 sisters, Jackie Duperre, Pauline Fissa and Emilia Comeau, many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.  He also leaves his favorite cat, Patches.  Joseph was the brother of the late Doris DaPonte, Theresa Cordeiro and Donald "Pete" Belanger.  His funeral service will be held during the visitation on Tuesday, 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. in the Goodrich Funeral Home, 128 Washington St., Lynn.  Relatives and friends respectfully invited to attend.
