Judy Marie (Doucette) Polando, 72, of Georgetown, gracefully passed into eternal rest on September 5, 2022 with her daughters by her side. She was born in Lynn, MA on November 9, 1949 daughter of the late Alfred and Lillian (DiDio) Doucette. She was raised in Lynn and moved to Swampscott where she graduated high school. At the age of 30 she attended Marion Court Junior College and earned her associates degree in accounting.

She worked in bank operations and cash management for years and recently earned her Accredited Automated Clearing House Professional designation, an accomplishment she was very proud of. She was employed by National Grand Bank in Marblehead, Ipswich Bank and Brookline Bank in Ipswich where she retired as a Cash Management Officer.

Judy loved traveling with her friends and family to numerous destinations. She was always planning her next adventure. She also had a love for animals and enjoyed the time she spent with her cats and dogs.

Judy is survived by her daughters, Lisa Smart and her husband Michael of Wilmington, MA and Cara Lane and her husband Michael of Georgetown, MA. She was the cherished grandmother of Zachary Smart, Alex Lane, Dustin Smart, Max Lane. She also leaves behind a host of family members and friends that will miss her dearly. She was predeceased by her sister Patricia Harnden.

Funeral arrangements will be private.
