IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Julieann
March
October 8, 1958 – March 4, 2026
Celebration of Life
Julieann March, 67, a lifelong resident of Lynn, Massachusetts, passed away on March 4, 2026. She was born on October 8, 1958, in Lynn to her parents, the late Ann and Herbert Comeau.
Julieann was known by many simply as “Ma,” because she was a mother figure to so many. Her home was always open, and it was the place where family and friends gathered, laughed, and felt safe and cared for. She was the kind of person who constantly checked in on the people she loved and was always willing to help anyone who needed it.
Throughout her life, Julieann worked several jobs. She worked at Kmart, alongside her mother at Whitman Catering in Lynn, and later in a nursing home where she cared for the elderly. While she took pride in all of her work, the role she loved most was being a stay-at-home grandma, which she considered her favorite and most important job.
Julieann had a joyful spirit and loved the simple things in life. She enjoyed shopping and jokingly said her “boyfriend” was the clearance rack. Before her health challenges, she loved dancing, especially doing the twist with her dad, and enjoyed hopping on the MBTA and going on little adventures. She was also known for her famous brownies, a recipe she kept secret that no one has quite been able to recreate.
Julieann is survived by her loving daughter, Vanessa March, who was truly her whole world. For many years, it was always just the two of them, sharing a bond that was unbreakable and deeply cherished. That world only grew bigger and brighter with the arrival of her beloved grandson, Jorvanni March, who she often called her favorite person in the world and who lovingly called her “Nunnie.” He quickly became her whole world as well, bringing her endless joy and pride. She is also survived by her sisters Christine Belliveau and husband Jerry Belliveau of Lynn, Kathleen Lombardi of Lynn, Elizabeth Spadafora and husband James Spadafora of Saugus; and her brother Anthony Comeau and Kim Comeau of New Hampshire.
She also loved her nieces and nephews immensely: Gerry and Andy Belliveau, Nicole Lombardi, Alexis Croce, Joshua, Emily, and Jacob Spadafora, and Bethany Comeau.
Julieann will be remembered for her big heart, her humor, her love for her family, and the way she made everyone feel like they belonged.
Her memory will live on in the many lives she touched and the love she shared so freely.
A celebration of life will be held for Julieann:
