Karen Francis of Lynn MA passed away peacefully in Boston Ma April 20th 2016 at the age of 58. Karen is survived by her parents, Patricia Flowers (Thompson) and Herman Cordy. Husband Winston Francis and Children; Aleethea Francis, Winston Francis Jr, Jordan Francis, Mariah Francis, Oral Francis, Kelly Hall (Francis) and Ronald Francis. Siblings; Marjorie Cordy, Anita Cordy, and Janelle Cordy, and a host of Nieces and Nephews, as well as extended family. Karen is preceded in death by her son James Cordy (Francis). Karen was loving and compassionate, who lived with a light heart, as she only carried goodness in her spirit, and brought families together through feasts. She was an accomplished cook, with all the recipes to soothe your soul. she was a dedicated Grandmother who loved spending time with, and caring for her grandchildren. Taking care of everyone was her heart's desire. Karen had many gifts, she played instruments, as a child, and loved to sing, as she had a beautiful voice. She also enjoyed reading books of all types, and was a human library, and could give you information on just about anything you could ask her. She was an inspiration to many. Karen helped so many people in her short time here on this earth, and has done so much good, that her family knows that she has a comfortable place in Heaven, but she will be missed dearly by all, and will continue to live through everyone's life she has touched. We thank God for being Blessed with an Angel. A funeral is scheduled for Monday May 9th at St Stephens Episcopal Church with a reception to follow at The Knights of Columbus.
