Karl Edward Peterson, age 80, of Lynn, passed away Friday March 6, 2015. He was the husband of Norma (Siwik) Peterson. Born in Lynn, he was the son of the late Leonard and Ruth (Bachelor) Peterson. Karl served with the National Guard, and prior to his retirement, he was self employed in the salvage business. He was a past member of the Moose Lodge, and he enjoyed time spent with his family. In addition to his wife, Karl is survived by his step-children, Terri Mazola of Lynn, Kelly Holmes of NH, Alice Holmes and Michael Holmes, both of Lynn, Katie Bigneaux of FL, Dennis Maurice of NH, Charles Maurice of Wareham and Vicky Loveless of NY, his brother Donald Peterson of Swampscott, 15 grandchildren, among them, Joseph Kennett and Paul Maurice, 7 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. He was step-father of the late Roger Maurice, and brother of the late Lyman, Fred, Roy and Kenneth Peterson, and Ellen Jemery. Visitation will be held in the Goodrich Funeral Home, 128 Washington St., Lynn, on Thursday, 5-7 p.m. Relatives and friends invited to attend.
