Obituary

Kelly Marie Ross-Archibald, age 38, of Lynn, passed away Thursday, March 16, 2017 from complications of pancreatitis. She was the wife of William Archibald and the mother of Meah Archibald. Born in Lynn, Kelly was the daughter of Susan (Slattery) Ross and Robert Ross. She graduated Lynn Tech, Class of 1997, and studied Gerentology and social work at North Shore Community College. She had worked at Jesmond Nursing Home in Nahant and for Duffy Electric in Lynn and also was a campaign assistant for two years for Stephen Duffy for City Councilor. Kelly was a passionate advocate DFW Cocker spaniel Rescue and any/all Animal Control and Adoption Centers. She loved painting, gardening, camping, koi ponds, fishing and the Lynn beach, which she referred to as "Ross Beach". Most of all, she loved the holidays. She was kind, creative and witty. She was happiest when she was helping somebody else. In addition to her husband, daughter and parents, Kelly is survived by her brothers Robert Ross and Donald Blandini Jr., her grandfather Bill Slattery Sr., Aunts and Uncles; Sally DeCotis, Bill Slattery and Jolene Slattery, Sandra Slattery Tobin, Scott Slattery, Sean and Chandra Slattery, Lorey W. Ross IV, Brenda Ross, Lolita Lopez, Karen Ross Mantica, Robert Mantica, Douglas Ross, Lee Votano-Ross, Marion Swenbeck, Toni Lynn Ross-Andersen, Donald Andersen, Everett Ross, Kelly Connors-Alicudo, Barbara Jean Ross-Dane, Michael Dane, Michael Bunaskavich, foster uncles Stewart McGuiness and Mark Krol, Cousins; Carl, William and Jamie Lee DeCotis, Julianne DeCotis Kloak, Billy Slattery III, Nicole and Jessica Slattery, Shannon Slattery, Alison Tobin, Priscilla and Steven Slattery, Douglas, Kristilee, Robert, Danny, Amanda and Steven Ross, April Ross-Finnerty, Anthony Laurin, Maxwell Schiffman, Michael Dane Jr., Anna Mantica-Farmer, Samantha Mantica-Levesque, Michael Bunaskavich Jr., Angela Ross-Bouknight, Joseph Hamilton and Brandon Lopez, her dogs Lady and Dude, and many friends, among them, Angela and Shane LoPresti. She was the granddaughter of the late Nancy Slattery, Barbara Milliken-Ross, Lorey W. Ross III, daughter in law of the late Mary Barnes and niece of the late Carl DeCotis. Visitation will be held in the Goodrich Funeral Home, 128 Washington St. Lynn on Saturday 3-5 p.m. Burial will be at a later date.
