It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Kenneth J. Campbell, aged 56, of Lynn, who passed away May 5, 2025, at Salem Hospital following a lengthy illness. Born in Marion, South Carolina, he was the son of the late Queenesther (Johnson)-Woodberry and is the son of Clarence Campbell. Kenny spent most of his life here in Lynn, where he graduated from L.V.T.I. For the past 18years he was employed at General Electric in Lynn. Kenny loved sports and music; they were integral parts of who he was. He coached pop warner football and AAU basketball and loved every minute of it. He spent the last 12 years with the St. Mary's boys' basketball program. He loved his family and enjoyed creating spaces for everyone to get together. He will be forever missed and loved by many.
Kenny was one of the most hardworking men you could find. He was always working and never complained about it either. Kenny was a family man who loved getting everyone together and celebrating family and loved seeing everyone smile and have fun. Kenny was one of the funniest people you could be around, he was always cracking jokes and everywhere he went there would be laughing and jokes that followed.
Kenny is survived by his sons Kenneth Johnson, Kaleel Campbell, Kolby Campbell: daughters Brittney and Kystal Campbell, his fiancé Ticona Suggs: Aunts: Ruemell McCloud, Nesmith, SC, Stephany Arnold, Waltham, MA, Antoinette Johnson, UT (Joseph), Layle Rivers (David), Lynn, MA.
