Kenneth Clay Yutzy, of Beverly, died unexpectedly on April 24, 2021, at the age of 42.
Ken is survived by his children, Caleb, and Abigail; wife Amanda Yutzy; parents Jan and Dr. Mary Yutzy; brothers Eric Yutzy and Tony Yutzy; birth mother DeLayne Anderson; birth father Mike Myers; and many cousins and friends who loved him.
Ken was born March 14, 1979, and was raised in Peabody. He was homeschooled through high school, then attended classes at North Shore Community College. Eager to help others in their times of need, Ken completed EMT and CNA courses and spent seven years as a mental health peer counselor at Elliott Community Human Services.
Ken enjoyed the finer things in life, and had a distinct appreciation for good food and big laughs. He loved to cook and was passionate about preparing large meals for his family. He loved the outdoors and found happiness in camping, fishing, and biking.
Ken's funeral will be held on Friday, June 25 at 10:30 am at St. Adelaide Parish, 708 Lowell St, Peabody, MA. In lieu of flowers, the family requests those who wish to express sympathy to consider making a donation in Ken's name to Beverly Bootstraps ( https://www.beverlybootstraps.org ) or NAMI (National Alliance on Mental Illness) Greater North Shore ( https://namigreaternorthshore.org ).
