A beautiful life of love and caring came to a close on Wednesday, May 29, 2019, when our beloved one, Ms. Laverne "Ray" Cooper of Chelsea, Massachusetts answered the Master's call and left with an angel of God to live in his heavenly home, that home that is free of sickness, pain and sorrow.

Daughter of the late James Cooper and Rachael Cooper, she was born on September 3, 1950 in Hughes, Arkansas.   In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sisters, Rose Hall and Fanny Lemon and her brother Richard Cooper.

Laverne was a loving aunt and sister.   She was a source of love, inspiration, encouragement, joy and happiness for all who knew her.  We loved her dearly and she will forever be missed.

Left to cherish many fond and loving memories is her loving family:

Her Sister, Myrtle Suggs-Woods of Lynn, Massachusetts; and a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great nephews and other relatives and friends.

Her memorial service will be held in the Goodrich Funeral Home, 128 Washington St., Lynn, Saturday, June 8, 2019, 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.   Burial will be at a later date.
