Lawrence Joseph Chiappini Jr. (Bub/Bubby), 48, of Lynn, passed away on Thursday, Nov. 26, 2015.
He was a U.S. marine sniper and Persian Gulf War veteran. Beloved son of Lawrence Joseph Chiappini Sr., and the late Ellen Chiappini. Devoted father of the late Felicia Chiappini. He is survived by Sarrie Lawrence, Patience Huie and Rodney Chiappini. Beloved brother of the late Josephine (Phinie) Chiappini, Michael Chiappini of Lynn, Annmarie Chiappini Rowe of Methuen, Cheri-Lyne Chiappini of Florida, Stephen Lunden of Lynn, Christy Hone of Texas, Katie Allison of Florida, Mark Chiappini, Angela Zagunis, Crista Chiappini Ligon and Gina Anderson, all of Michigan. Cherished by his nieces and nephews, Robert Anthos of Lynn, Tanya Anthos of Methuen, Anthony Gallien of Malden, Nikki Gallien of Peabody, Cody Chiappini of Lynn, Rocco Gallien of Malden and Chace Reed of Worcester.
His wake will be Friday, Dec. 4, 2015, in the Goodrich Funeral Home, 3-7 p.m. Cremation on Monday, and his burial service will be at Pine Grove Cemetery at 12:30 p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 8. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Active Heroes.
