Leroy "Butch" Warren, age 60, of Lynn, passed away surrounded by his family on Saturday, February 29, 2020 at Beth Israel Medical Center in Boston, MA.

He was born on October 10, 1959 in Georgetown, SC the oldest son of Lloyd and Berdell Warren Jr. He lived in Georgetown, SC until the age of 10 and then moved to Lynn, MA with his family. He was a 1977 graduate of Lynn Vocational Technical High School where he ran track and studied in the Electrical shop, Leroy worked as a Licensed Electrician for over 30 Years. He had a passion for fishing, listening to music, and spending time with his family and two grandchildren.

Leroy is survived by his parents Lloyd and Berdell Warren Jr. of Lynn; his daughter Cassandra (Le Gault) and husband Darryl Thomas of Manchester, CT; his sister Glendora (Warren) and husband Marcus Turner; his brothers Jesse Warren, Bunny Warren, and  Richie and wife Sharon (Wilkie) Warren all of Lynn. "Grandpa" leaves behind his two grandchildren A'maya and Ta'keo; and many nieces and nephews, Aunts and cousins.   He was predeceased by his Grandparents Gladys and Lloyd Warren, Sr. and Jennie and Henry Nesmith of South Carolina.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend an hour of visitation at Zion Baptist Church, 4 Adams Street Extension, Lynn, MA 01902 on Monday – March 9 ^th from 10:00am – 11:00 a.m., followed by a funeral service at the church at 11:00 a.m. Interment will be in Pine Grove Cemetery in Lynn.  Arrangements by the Goodrich Funeral Home, 128 Washington St., Lynn.
