Linda Candice (Hornsby) Williams answered her calling to come home Sunday, May 14, 2017. She was born in Everett on April 19, 1952 to the late Norman and Thelma Hornsby. She was the only girl among three brothers, Robert, the late Paul and the late Michael. She married her husband Tony Williams in 1992, where she was embraced with extended family. With this union, they brought their daughter Jennifer C. Williams. Prior to her retirement, she worked for Verizon for many years and was a substitute teacher for the Lynn Public School System for five years. She enjoyed crafting, crocheting and mostly time spent with her family and grandchildren. In addition to her husband, brother Robert and daughter Jennifer, she is survived by Sherelle Holloway and Daryl, Robin Strickland and David, Tiana Stout and William, 13 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family. Her funeral service will be Wednesday at noon in the Goodrich Funeral Home, 128 Washington St., Lynn. Burial will follow in Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, Peabody. Visitation is Tuesday, 5-8 p.m.
