Lita L. Simms, age 70, of Lynn, passed away Friday February 23, 2024.  Born in Lynn, she was the daughter of the late Eric Simms Sr. and Edna (Bowzer) and step daughter of the late Ralph Buchanan.   She was a graduate of Lynn English High School, class of 1970 and North Shore Community College class of 1985.  Prior to her retirement, she had worked as a Senior Clerk Typist and School Administration in Cambridge City Hall and in the Lynn Public School Department.  She is survived by her children: Stephani Hornsby of Lynn, Christopher Hornsby of Lynn and Michal Hornsby of Ohio, her siblings, many grandchildren, one great-grandchild, many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.

Visitation will be held in the Goodrich Funeral Home, 128 Washington Street, Lynn on Saturday 2:00 - 4:00 p.m.  Relatives and friends respectfully invited to attend.
