Lois Ann Fisher, "Ma", age 69, of Lynn, passed away Saturday November 8, 2014 following a lengthy illness. She is survived by her loving husband Robert C. Fisher, with whom she shared forty nine years of marriage. Born and raised in Glace Bay, Nova Scotia, she was the daughter of the late Neil and Katie O'Handley. She had resided in Lynn for more than thirty years. Prior to her retirement, she was an employee of Walmart for ten years. Lois enjoyed the Bruins, Red Sox, candlepin bowling, traveling home to Nova Scotia, loved her pets, playing cards and always winning, and dancing. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her twin sister, Linda Murphy of Marshfield, her sister Mary O'Handley of Glace Bay, Nova Scotia, four sons and their spouses, Robert and Susan of Hudson, NH, George "Neil" and Annette of New Bedford, Daniel and Erin of Hampstead, NC, and Erik and Kielisa of Lynn, ten grandchildren, eight grandpuppies, many nieces, nephews, cousins and many family friends. She was the sister of the late Colleen Lyszczasz and Correen Dexter. A funeral service will be held in the Goodrich Funeral Home 128 Washington St., Lynn, on Saturday at 1:30 p.m. Visitation is also Saturday, 1-4 p.m. For those desiring, memorials may be made to Element Care of Lynn or Friends of Animals.
