Lorraine Rita (Palmieri) Amirault, age 84, of Lynn, passed away Saturday, August 20, 2022.  She was the wife of Joseph Amirault, with whom she shared 65 years of marriage.  The daughter of the late Nicandro and Elizabeth (Gallucci) Palmieri, Lorraine grew up in Revere and spent most of her life in Lynn.  Prior to her retirement, she was a home health aide with Inter City Homemakers.  In addition to her husband, Lorraine is survived by her children, Michael, James and Michelle, her son in law Rick Sullivan, several grandchildren, nieces and nephews, her lifelong friend Pinky Winer who was like a sister to her, and good friends Kathleen Savage and Phyllis Camerlengo.  She was the sister of the late Michael, Matthew and Rose.  Her funeral will be from the Goodrich Funeral Home, 128 Washington Street, Lynn, on Friday, 9:30 a.m. with a funeral mass in St. Mary's Church at 10:30 a.m.  Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery.   Visitation is Thursday, 4:00 - 7:00 p.m.  To leave a message, kindly visit www.goodrichfuneralhome.com For those desiring, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
