Lorraine (Sawyer) (Ferrier) Conwell, age 89, of Lynn, passed away Saturday, March 16, 2019.  Born and raised in Lynn, she was the daughter of the late Hadwin Emery and Ora (LaPointe) Sawyer.  Lorraine resided in Salem for twenty years prior to returning to Lynn.  She had worked for General Electric for thirty years as a spot welder and a packer.  She loved playing BINGO and adult coloring with colored pencils and activities at Life Care Center with exercise, music programs and arts and crafts.  She mostly enjoyed time with her family and gatherings at the pool.  She is survived by her children, Nancy Gilmore of Salem, Elaine Ferrier of Lynn and John Ferrier of Saugus, her sisters, Shirley Spillane of Nahant, Barbara Wampler of Montana and Janet Arsenault of Lynn, one grandchild, one great grandchild, Shaunte' Killam, who thought of her "Nammy" as her favorite person, many nieces and nephews who lovingly referred to her as "Aunt Rain" and her friends and the staff at Life Care Center in Lynn.  She was the sister of the late Donald and Ramon Sawyer.  Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to gather in the Goodrich Funeral Home, 128 Washington St., Lynn on Monday at 1:00 p.m. and her service will be held at 2:30.  Visitation is also on Sunday, 2:00 – 6:00 p.m.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Activity Center at Life Care, 111 Birch Street, Lynn, 01902.
