Lorrell Grace Beaber (McCullough), age 78, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by her family on Sunday, December 27, 2020 after a 2 year fight with cancer.
Lorrell was the daughter of the late Angus & Beatrice (Wilke) McCullough. Beloved wife of the late James Roy Beaber. Loving mother of Abbey Beahm and her late husband Paul, of Raleigh NC, Jennifer Johansson and her husband Daniel of Lynn MA, and the late Jeremy Beaber of Watertown WI. She was a devoted grandmother to Hannah, Seth, Briana, Tony, Jacob, Sophia, Kate, Annika and Mya. A doting great grandmother to Marcel, Moriah and Gracelyn. The sister of Joel McCullough (June), Rene McCullough (Linda) and Stephen McCullough. Sister-in-law to Joyce Wolf (Jay), Karen Beaber, Ernie Beaber (Audrey) and Barbara Kernan. Beloved aunt to 18 nieces and nephews and 28 great nieces and nephews.
Lorrell was born in Wausau Wisconsin on July 29, 1942. She loved Jesus and was devoted to sharing his love and saving grace in all that she did. She served in several churches alongside her husband as a pastor's wife in Ellendale MN, Brookfield, Watertown & Waunakee WI. Following the passing of her husband, she was on staff at Northridge Church in Marshfield, WI. Her last 10 years of ministry were spent as a missionary in Sudan and Madagascar. There she used her love of teaching/literacy to share Jesus with others. Upon retirement, her desire to be closer to her daughters and grandchildren brought her to reside in Raleigh, NC and Lynn, MA, respectively. Lorrell was a strong woman of God whose legacy will live on through her daughters, grandchildren and life's ministries.
Services will be held in Waupaca, Wisconsin summer of 2021 - exact date and location will be announced as they are determined.
