Louise Yakoobian, age 84, born in and a lifelong resident of Lynn, passed away on August 15, 2023 after a brief illness.

She was predeceased by her parents, Joseph and Rose (Kapasousian) Yakoobian and was the sister to the late Nazareth and George Ghazarosian. She graduated from Lynn English High School. She worked at General Electric and Stop & Shop until her retirement.

She was a wonderful woman who cared deeply about her family putting them first above anything. She loved meals with her family, especially for the holidays. For a woman who could not boil water when she got married, she became an amazing cook. We especially loved the Armenian dishes she learned to make from her mother. Her Armenian heritage was important to her. She was part of the Women's Guild at St. Vartanantz Armenian Church in Chelmsford as well as donating to the elderly women in Armenia.

She is survived by her loving daughters, Kendra Zimiroski and her husband Craig, Holly Kane and her husband Michael. Additionally, she is also survived by her brothers Gregory Yakoobian and his wife Maria and Jeremiah Yakoobian and his wife Janet.

Louise also leaves behind her three grandsons, Eric Kane and his wife Shannon, Zachary and Jared Zimiroski.

She is survived by many beloved cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

Service Information: Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 20, 2023 from 2:30 to 6:30p.m. at Goodrich Funeral Home located at 128 Washington St. Lynn, MA 01902. Funeral service will be held on Monday, August 21, 2023 at 11 a.m. at St. Stephen's Memorial Church located at 74 S Common St. Lynn, MA 01902. In lieu of flowers, donations in Louise's name may be made to St. Stephen's Memorial Church or St. Vartanantz Armenian Church.
