Maria Lourdes Constantino age 83, of Peabody, died peacefully at the Ledgewood Nursing Home on Tuesday, February 28, 2023, after a courageous journey with Alzheimer's disease. Maria was born in Portugal to the late Francisco and Maria Mendonca, and married her late husband, Anibal Constantino. The young couple immigrated to the United States to settle down in Peabody, MA where they raised four children, Joseph Constantino (deceased); Rose & husband Rui Bettencourt; Luis Constantino, Elaine & husband Jason Holder. Maria was loved by her grandchildren Stephanie, Kathy, Christine, Anthony, Ethan, Devorah and Nathaniel. Maria was also blessed with many great grandchildren. Maria was the oldest of three siblings Vitalina Pereira, Leatino Correia (both deceased), and survived by Mariana Morais.

Maria Constantino was a beautiful soul who was there for anyone who needed help. Her home was always open to all, and her hospitality made you feel like family. She was a family-oriented person, the anchor/rock for her children.

Maria loved to spend time with her family, and cooking was her favorite way to bring the family together for the holidays.

All will miss her loving, humble, and gentle soul.
