Marie Ava Swanson, age 81, a lifelong resident of Lynn, passed away peacefully surrounded by her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren on August 21, 2018.  She was the daughter of the late Jean and Wilfred C. Bugden.  Marie was a kind soul who found beauty in everything around her.  She was the wife of David Swanson, and in addition, is survived by her five children, David Swanson of Lynn, Stephen Swanson of Wakefield, Susan and her husband Paul Meagher of Manchester, NH, James "Jimmy" Swanson of Lynn and Marie and her husband Eric Parent of Hollis Center, ME, 2 sisters, Joan Lynch of Las Vegas and Helen Meisner of Lynn, 11 Grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents and three sisters, June Keene, Betty King and Judy Williston.  Relatives and friends invited to gather in the Goodrich Funeral Home, 128 Washington St., Lynn, on Monday, 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.  Burial will follow in Puritan Lawn Memorial Park, Peabody.  Visitation is Sunday, 4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.
