Mary Jane McQuarrie, 77, a lifelong resident of Lynn, passed away peacefully at home on Friday, January 9th, surrounded by her family. She was the beloved daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (McManus) Burke, and for 51 years was the devoted wife of Charles McQuarrie. Together, they built a home filled with warmth, laughter, and love.

Family was at the center of Mary Jane's life. She was a proud and loving mother to her daughter Shannon and her son Sean and his wife Nora of Beverly, and a devoted grandmother to her cherished grandsons, Gavin and Liam. She is also survived by her brother Hugh Burke and his wife Mary and was predeceased by her brother Richard Burke.

Mary Jane found her greatest happiness in her kitchen, where she shared her love through cooking. An avid cook, she had a gift for turning simple meals into something special and for bringing people together around the table. Her home was the heart of many memorable Super Bowl gatherings, filled with good food, lively conversation, and her warm, welcoming presence. She believed that good food and a nice glass of white wine were best enjoyed in the company of those you love.

Mary Jane will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered.
