Obituary
Michael was guided into the hands of our Lord April 2nd, 2022, after having a heart condition for some time.
Michael was the son of Christa Murgida of Beverly, Ma (formerly of Lynn, Ma) and the late Anthony Murgida of Lynn, Ma. Michael was the father of Michael Murgida and Christa Murgida and stepfather to Grace and Ixia. Grandfather of four beautiful children and soon to be Great Grandfather.
Michael was the brother to Carlo Casarano and his wife Leise, Gina (Casarano) White and her husband Daniel, Barbara (Casarano) McQuaid and her husband Neil, Heidi (Murgida) Crawford. He was also an uncle to several Nieces and nephews.
Mike worked in Social Services at Beverly Hospital for many years and touched the hearts of many friends. Mike was an avid fisherman and a slayer of striped bass. In his free time, he could be found along the shores of Gloucester, Ma and surrounding towns.
His family asks that in lieu of flowers that a donation be made to The American Heart Association in his name.
A memorial gathering will be held at Goodrich Funeral Home, 128 Washington Street Lynn, MA, on Saturday April 9th, 2022 from 2pm-4pm.
