Michael S. Taylor, age 58, of Salem, formerly of Lynn, passed away Saturday, December 10, 2016 following a brief illness. Born and raised in Lynn, he was the son of Charles and Jeannette (Despres) DeSoto of Tyler, Texas. He was a graduate of Lynn Vocational and Technical Institute, class of 1976. He then graduated from Tyler Junior College in Tyler, Texas, class of 1991. Michael had a very kind and generous heart, and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He spent much of his time fixing electronics and making music for others. In addition to his parents, Michael is survived by his sons, Michael and Matthew Taylor, both of Hollywood, FL, his brother Edward Taylor and his wife Claire of Woburn, his brother Bruce DeSoto and his wife Lindsey of Woodbridge, VA, his sister Debbie Worley and her husband Victor of Tyler, TX, Aunts and Uncles Doris and Joe Pandolph, Stella and John Peterson and Mary Despres, and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
