Michael J. Ward, age 66, of Lynn, passed away Saturday, December 14, 2024.  Born in Lynn, he was the son of the late Charles Sr. and Edith (Smith) Ward.  Prior to his recent retirement, he was an assistant conductor for the rail road for many years.  Michael loved his music and enjoyed sports, movies, playing cards and crossword puzzles.  He had a great laugh that will be missed.  He is survived by his children, Monique Ward of Melrose, Michael Ward Jr. of Colorado, and was the father of the late Marlon Ward.  In addition, he is survived by his siblings, Charles Ward Jr. of Gardiner and Deborah Snow of Lynn, 11 grandchildren, Michael III, Mikiya, Malik, Brooklyn, Jaslyn, Maziere, Marlon Jr., Makai, Meelah, Monae and Mazoie, several nieces, nephews, extended family and many friends.  Visitation for Michael will be held on Saturday, January 4, 2025 in the Goodrich Funeral Home, 128 Washington Street, Lynn 11:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m.
