Obituary

Michele Ann Lopez, age 51, a lifelong resident of Lynn passed away Friday, March 27, 2020 at Beverly Hospital after battling a brief illness.

Born and raised in Lynn, on January 16, 1969. She was the daughter of Efrain and Rose M. Lopez. She was a graduate of Lynn English High School class of 1987. She spent the last seven years as a resident at Hunt Nursing Rehabilitation Center in Danvers.

Michele was first and foremost a mother. She devoted her life to raising her three daughters and granddaughter. She was her daughters' number one fan in all that they do and was proud of all their accomplishments. She always found a way to get through many challenging situations including her health. Michele was a lover of music and an avid Boston sports fan especially the New England Patriots and Boston Celtics. Her outgoing and fun personality could always bring a smile to people's faces. She enjoyed spending time and making memories with her family. She took great pride in being a grandmother to Jailianna, she was her greatest joy.

Michele is survived by her parents, Efrain and Rose M. Lopez. Her three daughters Jalisa Thornton; Christina McKenzie; and Aleka Felings; and her granddaughter Jailianna Thornton all of Lynn. Her sister Rose M. Noonan and her brother in-law Michael P. Noonan of Lynn, her niece Jami Doherty and her husband Dan Doherty of Woburn, her nephew Michael Noonan and his wife Carly Noonan of Lynn, her great nephew Ethan Doherty and two great nieces Teagan Doherty and Hailey Noonan. She was the granddaughter of the late Celia Cuevas of Lynn; the late Rafael Lopez of Lares, Puerto Rico; and the late Lillian and Hector "Phil" Caron of Salisbury. She is also survived by her godparents; Ismael "Jimmy" Rivera and his late wife Zoraida Rivera of Arecibo, Puerto Rico, as well as her Aunt Bruni Lopez of Lynn, and Aunt Lynette and Uncle Joe Lopez of Lynn. She is also survived by many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and lifelong friends.

As a result of present health concerns, all services will be private on Tuesday in the Goodrich Funeral Home in Lynn. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
