Michelle Anne Knox, of Lynn, Mass., passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, September 7, 2025. Michelle was only 38 years old. Our family is devastated and shocked by this loss. Michelle was born on December 7, 1986 in Boston, Mass.to Carleen (Knox) Eastman.

Michelle was a shining light in the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing her.

After Michelle attended Woonsocket High School, Michelle worked in different fields, enjoying the variety of life and the thrill of learning new trades some of which include being a Certified Nursing Assistant and Dunkin's Crew.

Michelle's hobbies included teaching others to crochet and being a listening ear. Michelle had a strong desire to bring light to those in need which epitomized her joyful and generous nature.

Her greatest joy came from spending time with her family. She is survived by her daughter Shayla, sons Preston and Malikye, big sister to Josh and Cody Smith, Tyler Lane, and Cora Eastman, half-sister to Heather Smith. Auntie to Nova. Michelle also leaves behind Uncle Ricky Knox, Uncle Jerry and Aunt Christine Knox, other aunts & uncles, numerous cousins, friends and other relatives. Michelle is predeceased by her grandfather Robert Knox.

Michelle had a gift of making others smile and laugh with an unwavering commitment for spreading love and kindness to everyone she encountered. We ask that you remember Michelle not for the way her life ended, but for the way it was lived, and for the profound impact it had on the lives of those who had the pleasure of knowing her.

A wake is being held for Michelle on Sunday, September 21, 2025, at Goodrich Funeral Home, 128 Washington Street, Lynn, Mass 01902. Visitation will be from 1-4 pm.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that a memorial donation be made to Hawk, an organization Michelle was deeply passionate about and supported.
