Nicholas (Paul) Petropoulos, 71

Lynn – Mr.Nicholas Dimitrios Petropoulos, age 71 of Lynn, passed peacefully on Monday, September 6, 2021 at Kaplan Family Hospice House after a lengthy battle with cancer. He was husband of the late Elizabeth Hellmer.

A Lifelong resident of Lynn, he was the son of the late Angela and Dimitris Petropoulos. He was a Veteran of the Greek Army.

He had worked for many years as a professional painter. He was a passionate coffee drinker and Keno player. He loved being a father and grandfather and spending time with his family. Along with spending time at local businesses.

Nicholas is survived by 2 children; Angela (Kusch) Petropoulos, of Salem, MA and her husband Richard Mason and Anthony Petropoulos and longtime girlfriend Lexi of Lawrence, KS, his grandchildren; William Kusch and wife Shelby Kusch, Victoria Alterio and her husband Eric Alterio, Wayne Mason, Dakota Mason and Alyssa Mason. He was the father of the late Nicholas (Nicky) Petropoulos Jr., and the brother of Christos and Olympia, Sophia and George Ionna, George and Irene, Kostas and Marry, Ionia and Athina all of Greece. Beloved "Uncle" to many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews and many special friends who were like family in the Greek community.
