Norma L. Holmes Peterson, age 78, of Lynn, passed away on January 27, 2017, following a brief illness. She was the wife of the late Karl E. Peterson and mother of the late Debra Holmes. Born and raised in Lynn; she was the daughter of the late Eileen (McGovern) and Stanley Siwik.
Norma was a graduate of St. Mary's High School in Lynn. For twenty-eight years, she worked as a home health aide for Intercity Homemakers Services. She most enjoyed spending time with her family.
She is survived by her children, Terri Mazola & her husband Daniel, Kelly Adams, Michael Holmes and Alice Holmes & her partner David Atherton; her grandchildren Krista Burke "her angel" & her husband Patrick, William Mazola & his wife Melissa, Sara Mazola, Richard Cushman, Amanda Johnson, Paul Maurice & his wife Jennifer and Jared Atherton. She is also survived by six great grandchildren: Daniel, Alanna, Aiden and Quinn Burke: Mason Maurice and Bentley Owens. She was the sister of Arlene Rossetti, Jean Tansey, and the late Alice Manias. She was the sister-in- law of Basil Manias.
Services will be held at the Goodrich Funeral Home, 128 Washington St., Lynn, on Tuesday, January 31st, with visitation, 4-6 P.M. followed by a funeral service.
