Patricia A. (Fitzgerald) Melendez, age 53, a lifetime resident of Lynn, died surrounded by her loving family and friends on December 29, 2014, following a lengthy illness. She was the wife of Wilfredo Melendez.
Born in Somerville, MA and raised in Lynn; she was the daughter of the late Michael and Nancy (DeFelice) Fitzgerald. Patricia graduated from Lynn English and received her Associates Degree and was on the Dean's list at North Shore Community College.
She was a homemaker who treasured her family and loved to bake. She also enjoyed her nights out with the girls playing BINGO.
She was the mother of Manolin Soto, Tiffany Gilmore, Orlando Soto-Melendez, Nancy Melendez and Natalie Melendez all of Lynn. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, many cherished brothers and sisters, family and friends.
Funeral Information: Visitation Saturday, January 3rd, 2-4 P.M. followed a funeral service at 4 P.M. in the Goodrich Funeral Home, 128 Washington St., Lynn.
