Paul Anthony Addonizio, age 71, most recently of Lynn, Massachusetts, passed away on January 19, 2026. He was born on February 21, 1954, in Medford, Massachusetts, to Albert Addonizio and Norma Addonizio (Falanga), both of whom predeceased him.

Paul was the father of five children: Jennifer Addonizio Rozen, Paul Addonizio Jr., Alyson Addonizio, Lindsey Addonizio, and Jessica Addonizio. He is also survived by five grandchildren and four nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother, Albert Addonizio, and is survived by his siblings Stephen Addonizio and his wife Carmella Addonizio and his sister Roseann Marcoux and her husband Stephen Marcoux.

Paul grew up in Medford and was a proud graduate of Medford High School, Class of 1973. He loved football and especially cherished his time playing for the Medford Mustangs. He spent most of his adult life working at A.W. Chesterton Company, where he was known as a loyal and hardworking employee. Paul was also a member of the Knights of Columbus, Wakefield Council #104.

Paul was kind, positive, and genuinely fun to be around. In the later years of his life, despite having fallen on hard times, he became a familiar face and beloved fixture in the Lynn community, where he was known and cared for by many. His family is grateful for all of the assistance and love provided to him by that community.

A memorial service open to all who wish to pay their respects and remember Paul will be held on February 13, 2026, from 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at Goodrich Funeral Home, 128 Washington Street, Lynn, Massachusetts 01902.

Paul will be remembered for his warmth, his humor, and the connections he made with people wherever he went.
