On August 31, 1936, Paulina Beato was born in La Guama, Dominican Republic. She cherished the moments she experienced in Fantino with her children. Through her storytelling, fundamental values, and her spirit, she kept our connection growing stronger every year.
Paulina was a fashion stylist, business owner and worked for several years making ballerina shoes at the capital of the world shoe industry in Lynn, Massachusetts until her retirement. She spent her free time gardening, spending quality time with her family, and sowing scarves and hats.
Paulinas has five living siblings Ramona Reyes, Isidro Reyes, Juan de Jesus Reyes, Emelinda Reyes and Manuel Reyes, with whom she endured and overcame the hardships of coming to America to leave a legacy worth living for. Her legacy carries on through her children, José Luis Beato, Pedro Luis Pantaleón Beato, Carmen Miguelina Beato, Daysi Margarita Beato, Ricardo de Jesús Beato, Denise Carolina Beato, Jose Raul Beato, and Juan Alberto Beato. Along with 34 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren.
On February 10th, 2023, Paulina passed away in the late afternoon surrounded by close relatives and her loved ones.
