PJ Bassi, of Peabody, passed away October 7, 2014. He was born in Fort Dix, New Jersey May 20, 1975, and attended schools in Rome, New York, and Peabody, graduating from Peabody Veterans Memorial High School. Philip was a former Verizon employee and also worked in construction. PJ is survived by his father Stephen Bassi and his wife Susie of Rome, NY, his mother Carrie and her husband Gregory Page of Peabody, his children Angelique Bassi and Christian Bassi, both of Salem, his brother and sister in law, Eric and Kim Bassi of Peabody, his grandmother Katherine (Bassi) Waldron of S. Hampton, NH, his former wife Shannon and her husband Chad Breault and son Sam Avola, all of Salem, and several nieces, nephews, aunts and uncles. He was the brother of the late Stephenie Helen Christine Bassi, and was predeceased by a special friend, Sophie. Visitation will be held in the Goodrich Funeral Home, 128 Washington St., Lynn on Sunday, 5-8 p.m. Burial will take place on Tuesday, 11:00 a.m. in Cedar Grove Cemetery, Peabody.
