Philip French 70, of Lynn, died Dec 13, 2020 at the Care One Nursing Home, Beverly, after a lengthy illness.

Philip was Born June 15th, 1950 in Lynn, he was a son of the late William B, French Sr. and the late Phyllis (Cotter) French.

He was raised in Lynn and attended Lynn Schools. He worked previously at Premier Shoe and Davco. Prior to retiring he was a security guard at the Harbor Loft Apartments in Lynn.

He was an avid sports fan of all Boston/New England teams.

He is survived by his loving, care giving brother Russell French of Lynn, William B. French Jr of Lynn and Ernie French of Peabody.   He also leaves his sisters, Brenda Pierni of Avon, MA and Genevieve (Gen) Ritz of Verona Wisconsin.

He was predeceased by his brother Milton Henry (Frenchie) French of Live Oak, CA and Matthew French of Lynn

He also leaves several nieces and nephews he loved deeply.

A memorial gathering and service will be held in the Goodrich Funeral Home, 128 Washington St., Lynn on Wednesday, February 10, 2021 from 4pm to 7pm.  With following the CDC guidelines, 40 family and friends will be welcomed at a time.   For those desiring, memorial donations may be made to the Jimmy Fund in Philip's memory.
