Phyllis A. McCarthy, age 66, a lifelong resident of Lynn, passed away suddenly August 11, 2019 after a brief illness.  She was the wife of Dennis McCarthy, with whom she shared many wonderful years.  Prior to her retirement, she was a Machine Technician for Pitney Bowes.  Phyllis was a member of the American Legion; Woman's Auxiliary.  She loved spending time with her children & grandchildren, loved to travel, playing cards & being with friends.

In addition to her loving husband Dennis, she is survived by her son Dennis McCarthy Jr. of Lynn, her daughter Coleen Mahoney of Peabody, grandchildren: Emily, Ryan, Hope, Calvin & Madeline, her siblings Phillip Wyman Sr. & his wife Kelli, Rolanne Martin and the late Roland Wyman III, several nieces, nephews, her extended family and friends.  Visitation will be in the Goodrich Funeral Home, 128 Washington Street, Lynn, on Sunday 12:00 – 3:00 p.m.  Relatives and friends respectfully invited to attend.
