Phyllis A. Walsh, age 88, of Peabody, passed away peacefully on August 5, 2016 surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late Thomas Walsh Sr. Born and raised in Gloucester, and worked at Salem Hospital as a Nurse's Aide for many years before her retirement. She is survived by her children, Thomas Walsh Jr. and his wife Donna of Epping, NH, David Walsh and his wife Barbara of Moultonborough, NH, Jo-Ann Cronin and her husband David of Peabody and Dana Walsh and his wife Sheri of Peabody, and her son in law Gary Finnegan of Peabody, 8 grandsons and their spouses, and 7 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her daughter Ann-Marie Finnegan. The family would like to extend their sincere appreciation to the staff at Care One, formerly Peabody Glen in Peabody, for their dedication and support of their mother while she was in their care. There will be a private graveside service at St. Mary's Cemetery at a later date.
