Pok Ouk of Battambang, Cambodia, passed away peacefully on Friday, February 20, 2026, in Taunton, Massachusetts. Born on July 5, 1959, to father Ut and mother Chhim. Pok was well known in the Cambodian American community of Lynn, Massachusetts. He was comedic in nature, as he always wanted everyone around him to smile and laugh. He was an avid fisherman, not only in leisure, but also employment. He lived his life by the rod and reel.
Pok emigrated to the United States after escaping the war in Cambodia in September of 1981. He first settled in Houston, Texas, then later moved to California, and settled in the cities of Modesto and Oakland. In 1988, he moved to the state of Massachusetts, where he lived in Lynn, Saugus, and finally Taunton, where he passed.
Pok first married Saron Phe, and they had their two sons Ra Ouk and Ret Ouk. He then separated in 1986, and married Lourm Lath in the same year. They raised two additional sons Sarath Lath and Rithy Lath.
Pok is survived by his four sons and daughters-in-law; Ra and Pauletta of Pelham, New Hampshire, Ret and Sokha of Lynn, Massachusetts, Sarath and Tatyana of Taunton, Massachusetts, and Rithy and Kanha of Missimee, Florida. He is also survived by his four wonderful grandchildren Ladainian, Damian, Athena, and Alaiya.
Calling hours for Pok will be held on Thursday, February 26, 2026, from 4pm-7pm, at Goodrich Funeral Home, 128 Washington Street in Lynn, MA. A Vigil Service will be held at the Sanghikaram Wat Khmer Temple, 110 Chestnut Street, Lynn, MA. A Funeral Service will leave from the Sanghikaram Wat Khmer Temple, 110 Chestnut Street, Lynn, MA, on Saturday, February 28, 2026, at 9am; followed by a procession to Puritan Lawn Cemetery, 185 Lake Street, Peabody, MA, for cremation services.
