Rafael Francis, 72 of Lynn, passed away peacefully at Chestnut Woods Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center on November 25, 2022. He was born in the Dominican Republic on July 11, 1950, preceded in death by his beloved wife Gladys Francis. He was the son of Armando Luis Francis and Ursula Corporan. He is survived by his five children, his two brothers and one sister, and 13 beautiful grandchildren.

Rafael "Fey" was the owner of Francis Sign, a full-service business where he designed, manufactured, and installed commercial signs and awnings. He was a cherished human being who was full of life and joy and was deeply loved by so many people. He loved and enjoyed listening and dancing to Salsa music, he was a true Salsero at heart.

Despite his battle with a serious medical issue and life challenges, he continued to show his courage in facing life with a smile and deep desired to live; he stayed strong until the very end of his life. His contagious smile and positive personality will always be remembered.
