IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Raymundo
Marcelino
January 26, 2022
Raymundo F. Marcelino
Raymundo was born in the Dominican Republic and moved to the United States as a child. He is the oldest of seven siblings and was affectionately referred to by some as "Big Ray." Ray appeared to be very stoic, serious, and stern, but his smile was beautiful and his chuckle was unforgettable.
Ray was employed as a truck driver in different capacities until medical reasons prevented him from driving. He enjoyed good conversations, listening to boleros, bachata and if you were visiting him, at some point, you would have been required to sit and listen along intently with him as he pointed out a particular lyric or melody that had caught his ear. On a special occasion or at one of the many family gatherings, Ray would dance and when he did, you could tell he thoroughly enjoyed it.
Raymundo F. Marcelino passed away on January 26th, 2022, due to a chronic health condition. He is survived by his 3 Daughters, 11 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, siblings, cousins and other family members.
Ray will be missed by all and if he were here, he would respond with mock surprise at the outpouring of love and with a knowing twinkle in his eye ...say
"Oh là là..."C'est La Vie"...
