PFC Research Delva, age 20, of Lynn, passed away June 8, 2019.  He attended Connery Middle School and was a graduate of Lynn Classical High School, class of 2018.  He enlisted into the United States Army on June 26, 2018.  He attended Basic Combat Training at Fort Jackson, South Carolina.  He went on to Advanced Individual Training (AIT) in MOS 92A (Automated Logistical Specialist) at Fort Lee, Virginia.  Upon graduating AIT he was assigned to the 4 ^th Engineer, 36 ^th Engineering Brigade of the 4 ^th Infantry Division at Fort Carson Colorado.  He was promoted to his current rank of Private First Class on 1 May 2019.  Research is survived by his mom, Marie, his dad, Pierre, his brother Seartch and his sister, Irene.  His visitation will be in the Goodrich Funeral Home, 128 Washington Street, Lynn on Friday, 4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.  His funeral service will be held in the East Baptist Church, 300 Western Ave., Lynn on Saturday at 8:00 a.m.  Relatives and friends respectfully invited to attend.  Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery, Lynn.
