Richard E. Morley, age 80, of Lynn, passed away February 27, 2015. He was the husband of Shirley (Guimond) Morley. Born in Lynn, and a lifelong resident, he was the son of the late Frank and Evelyn (Blowers) Morley. Prior to his retirement, Richard worked first in the laundry department, then with security at the Lynn Convalescent Home. He loved taking care of his grandchildren, and they meant everything to him. He is survived by his children, Bruce Morley of Salem, Dennis Morley of Maine, Deborah LeBaron of Peabody, Cheryl Morley of Danvers, Denise MacDonald of Bradford and Keith Morley of Lynn, 2 brothers, Donald Morley and Edward Morley, both of Lynn, 13 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild and several nieces and nephews. He was the father of the late Richard Jr. and Thomas Morley, and brother of the late Frank Jr., Evelyn Collins, Frances Morley and Lenore Morley. Visitation will be held in the Goodrich Funeral Home, 128 Washington St., Lynn, on Wednesday, 6-8 p.m.
