Robert D. James, age 66, of Quincy, passed away Wednesday, November 22, 2017. He was the husband of Diane James. Born in Brockton, he was the son of the late Douglas Campbell James and Elizabeth (Reardon) James. A Veteran of Vietnam, he served with the United States Army. Robert had worked for MA Water for more than 25 years. He was a member of the VFW, Post 2346 in Saugus and the DAV. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Michael James and his wife Michele and their children Claire and Liam, Timothy James and his fiancé Amanda McFarlane and Stephen James, his brother in law Normand Goyette, his half brother Douglas James and several nephews, great nieces and nephews and cousins. He was the brother of the late Carolyn Goyette and Joanne James. Visitation is Sunday, 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. in the Goodrich Funeral Home, 128 Washington St., Lynn. Burial will be in the National Cemetery of Massachusetts in Bourne on Monday.
